  • About School District Budgeting

  • The school district’s budget year extends from July 1 to June 30.  From March to May, the Board of Education is working to set the budget for the next year.  That budget is called the Preliminary Budget.  In January of each year, once all the enrolment information for the year is verified, adjustments are made and the Board approves an Amended Budget for the balance of the fiscal year.  No sooner is the Amended Budget approved than the Board starts working on the budget for the next year.
