Bill Bard
Contact: 250.713.9321 Member of the Advisory Committee on Sexual Orientation Bill is serving his first term as a Trustee. His background is in business and special needs. Bill is a co-founder of a community outreach to youth, based on the secondary school model of GSA (Gay-Straight Alliance) in the district and province-wide.
Bill is the father
of three and a grandfather to one. His children are graduates of the
Nanaimo-Ladysmith
School District and have chosen to remain in their hometown of Nanaimo
to pursue their VIU degrees and careers in
finance and
health
care.
