Bill is the creator, writer, and producer of the local Hidden Heroes newspaper/TV/magazine column and a former Toronto broadcaster. He is an inspirational speaker and facilitator and is the author of the forthcoming book, Our Hidden Heroes:  Life Lessons from the Everyday Folks Who Lived Them.

He has is an award winning community activist, Rotarian and an executive member of many local and provincial not-for-profit boards.

Bill was the creator and host of The Robinson Connection, a unique Toronto radio show which inspired listeners to do things they always wanted to do.  The show raised over $100,000 for charity.  Bill was also the founder, producer, and host of the cystic Fibrosis Radiothon from 1983 to 1991.  The project raised close to two million dollars and much needed public awareness at no cost to the foundation.

Bill is currently the founder of the Nanaimo Interact Club, a high school Rotary Club, which has raised $20,000 for AIDS orphans and other students in Zimbabwe in its first two years.
