Board policies and
procedures
Board of Education policies and procedures are
available here.
Setting policy for the
operation of schools and the school district is an important role of
the Board of Education.
Through policy, the Board establishes
goals and gives direction to the local school system.
Policies set out a course
of action to guide future decisions by those who work in the school
system.
Procedures, which accompany policies,
outlines more specifically what district staff are expected to do.
All policies and procedures are adopted or amended at public
meetings of the Board of Education.
