Board representative of Literacy Nanaimo

Jamie Brennan is currently working as a Mental Health Advocate for the Community Legal Assistance Society as an advocate for patients at Mental Health Review Panels.  He is retired from Vancouver Island University where he worked in Student Services as an Educational Counsellor for 19 years. He has a Masters Degree in Adult Education from St. Francis Xavier University; a Bachelors Degree in International Relations from the University of British Columbia and a Diploma in Public Administration from the University of Victoria.

He is married to Diane and has four children and four grandchildren.

He was elected in 2005 but had previously served on the Board from 1984-88, holding the position of chair in 1987-88 and 2005-08.
