Programs to meet each student's needs
School District 68 is committed to the
success of each student. Because students learn in a variety
of different ways, and have a variety of different needs, the
district provides a number of programs to serve learners.
School District 68 programs

Aboriginal Education - working
with the Aboriginal communities to improve the academic performance
of our Aboriginal students.

Career Technical Centre
- a unique opportunity for students to begin post-secondary trades and
technical programs during Grades 11 and 12.

Early
Years - working with the community to provide programs for
pre-school children.

French Immersion - More than 1,000
students are in School District 68's French Immersion Program from
Kindergarten to Grade 12.

Learn@Home
K-7 - matches the dedication of distance education families
with the resources of SD68.

Learn@Home
8-12 - a flexible way for learners of all ages to work towards
their B.C. Dogwood Diploma and/or to upgrade their high school
courses.

Secondary
specialty academies - students combine their academic studies
with special programs in hockey, soccer, jazz or performing
arts.
•
Student
Support
Services - working collaboratively with the school community to
provide an inclusive learning experience addressing the diversity of
student needs.
