French
Immersion Programs Review
In order to address the long-term facilities plan
and the Board of Education's commitment to quality education for all
students, the district is undertaking an external review of its French
Immersion Programs.
An external consulting firm is conducting the review for
the Board. As part of the review, they are: •
Reviewing school district and provincial French Immersion data •
Reviewing literature and research related to French Immersion •
Consulting broadly with parents, students, staff and the community
The result will be a report with recommendations for consideration by
the Board of Education. It is expected that the review
will be completed by the end of May 2011.
