The district has begun the 2019-20 budget development process. During the month of April, the district will engage with students, parents, staff and community partners. As a participant you will be given the opportunity to provide feedback on current priorities as well as suggesting your own thoughts on where the best use of school district funding should be allocated.
Feedback will be gathered in a variety of ways:
- Budget open house – Tuesday, April 16 from 4 – 6 p.m. in the Boardroom at the District Administration Centre (395 Wakesiah Ave). Entrance is located off the Fourth Street parking lot. This is a drop-in session and you may come and go as you please.
- Online Thoughtexchange questionnaire
- Face-to-face meetings held with various stakeholder groups
- Email your feedback to firstname.lastname@example.org
District staff will present the findings within its preliminary budget presentation to the Board on Wednesday, April 24, 2019.
