A shout out to Teacher Joy Tretick for all the work she does around Aboriginal understandings. Joy goes out of her way to enrich the lives of students and to embed the Aboriginal curriculum in her teachings. 68 HOORAYS START START START A special out to Principal Jacquie Poulin and Vice-Principal Cindy Haack for the amazing job transitioning the Rutherford closure and consolidation. They worked tirelessly all last year, through the summer and continue to go above and beyond to ensure that all students are welcomed, integrated and cared for. I simply can’t say enough about their dedication and caring! Words can’t even begin to describe Secretary Bev Lundine – she’s beyond incredible! A HUGE shout out to all of the Learning Alternatives staff and students that worked together to help create the Learning Alternatives beautiful new school logo. Students and staff are thrilled with the finished product that represents resiliency and wisdom.
