Page 14 Want to share a 68 Hoorays in the next ConnectEd? 68HOORAYS 68 Hoorays goes out to Susan Praud. Sue works closely with a student with cerebral palsy, who is in a wheelchair and is non-verbal for the most part. The student has flourished under Susan’s care and support. He is affectionate and happy and clearly enjoys his time with Susan. Her dedication to his well-being really stands out. Susan has worked closely with the student on his daily physio routine, and, as a result, he is much more willing to use a walker than his wheelchair. This would not have been possible without Susan’s patience and gentle humour. Susan has also subtly dismantled invisible barriers between the student and his classmates, creating a truly inclusive learning environment.
