b'Administrators Recognized at WE DayBy Shauna DeBodtCongratulations to two Top Dog Administrators for their tireless work supporting WE Day initiatives.For 11 years, Principals JacquiePoulin(PleasantValleyElementary)andDiane McGonigle(FrankJ.NeyElementary)havebeenpromoting service leadership among youth in their school communities. This fall, the duo was awarded with the I Teach WE Award.Both administrators were taken aback as it was a bit more of a deal than they anticipated. The awards were presented to five educators at the Educational Partners Breakfast prior to the big WE Day event in November.Principal Jacquie Poulin said, It was an honour to receive this award.TheITeachWEAwardacknowledgestheworkPoulinand McGoniglehavedoneovertheyears,promotingservice leadershipwiththeirstudents;forsupportingMEtoWE programs; and for promoting youth leadership.They were also recognized for their support of the WE Walk for Water initiative. Twoyearsago,theschoolsparticipatedwithintheirschool communitiesandlastyeartheadministratorsorganizeda district-wide event.
