Charlene has represented the District Parent Advisory Council (DPAC) as President and Past President, and has enjoyed working with parents and education stakeholders during this time.  She has represented parents on various school district committees including: Education Committee, Business Committee, Safe Schools, Assessment and Reporting, and the Educational Technology Advisory Group. She played a key supportive role for parents during consultation and construction meetings and is heavily involved in her children’s school PAC.

Charlene is a married mother of two elementary school-aged children, who is self-employed as a medical transcriptionist.

She looks forward to continuing to serve Nanaimo Ladysmith Public Schools as a member of the Board of Education.
