Bill is serving his third term as an SD68 trustee. He is best known as the creator, writer, and producer of the Hidden Heroes newspaper/Shaw Cable/magazine column that ran from 2001 to 2012.

He is also the creator – with support from several SD68 teachers – of the Our Hidden Heroes Social Responsibility/Language Arts Education Program that has been used in four provinces (BC, Alberta, Ontario, and Quebec) and one US state (Mississippi).
