Third-party advertising/sharing information in our schools

Please note: We receive multiple requests every week from external organizations to advertise information in our schools. Nanaimo Ladysmith Public Schools never share third-party marketing materials, tickets, posters, or information directly with our students. We do not share information from businesses, or for-profit organizations.

For non-profit, educational, or local youth sports organizations we can:

  • Share your information on our Community Connections Resources and Events page. We share this link in our district newsletter that is sent to all families bi-weekly.
  • Share a poster for our school principals to include in their school newsletter if they feel it is relevant to their school community.
  • Please do not print posters. To reduce waste we only share information electronically through the methods above.

Do not contact schools or principals directly. They will not respond to unsolicited emails from organizations. All organizations must contact communications@sd68.bc.ca to request to have information shared with our schools.
