A school plan is a vital list of goals to help students learn better, feel supported, and grow. It acts as a roadmap showing what a school wants to improve and how they will do it. By strengthening accountability, these plans play a major role in shaping our education system and connecting schools with larger district and provincial goals
Boards of education are required to create and maintain a strategic plan, annually report on student outcomes and put systems in place to continuously improve the educational outcomes for all students and improve equity for Indigenous students, children and youth in care, and students with disabilities or diverse abilities.
