Bayview Elementary has been a busy place this past few weeks. The students recently raised more than $1,000 for Jump Rope for Heart. As a reward for reaching their goal, the students who raised the most money participated in turning Mr. Weighill and Ms. Derosa into human sundaes in front of the whole school. They had an amazing Earth Day celebration participating in many outside stations to learn about taking care of the land. There were recycling races, gardening, nature mandelas, community clean-up and some fun rock painting.

Most recently, they had the pleasure of working with Bikes for Kids and suited up 18 kids with new-to-them bikes. It was an amazing opportunity and the kids were so happy with their new bikes.
